Knock THis Bitch.....

Hi. How was ur holiday weekend?
I was told that I should not pursue my rap career because I don't look like Beyonce and I am tall. I told the person that I had great songs on the way and that I want to use popularity from rap to become a philantropist. They were like I should finish school and work for a major corporation or write for APPEALING ARTISTS LIKE RIHANNA OR BEYONCE {SHOUT OUT TO NE YO, THE DREAM AND SEAN GARRETT}. I laughed and said that I am in school and that I didn't want to live my life to make a corporaton richer.
I said that the American dream was built off of entrepreneurship, so me wanting to be involved with entertainment is not the worst thing in the world!!! I can use my money to help others and to create outlets for people {did I mention I used to work in childcare}.
I was also told that the music industry wants artists like soulja boy right now. Duh nothing is wrong with that but and any half wit knows that every few years in music u get a young pop explosion ... so whatever. My latest song "OVER" shows the direction that I want to go with my music. I want to explore and blend genres and have fun with it. It is truly where I feel free to be me.
I am working on an EP that will drop online in September or October of this year and I will be more than happy to hear feedback about it. I believe in doing things in style and big. So know that my naked myspace page will be FAB!!!
So to the person who said those things to me in such a nasty way, I have 2 words for you that u can take to ur grave: BE BLESSED. You may think that you know what the public wants but you have no idea, duh that's why the industry is suffering, u can't force feed us the same TYPE repeatedly. And I know that u say that I should look on the TV and see who I mirror and I will tell you that I don't see anyone who looks like me on the TV and that's a problem. So are you saying that I should hate me and only support those completely opposite of me because I don't fit in a category?!?! Puh-leeze!!! To the left, to the left.
Lol friend, I just had to insert that rant above because its the BS that I face. I initially wanted to disclose this before but I was told not to but WHATEVER, I want you to know what's going on with me. I want to deliver great music to someone who wants to hear it. I want to share my successes and my setbacks with you. I want to be open through my music and REAL. And I didn't want to wait until the EP comes out and write about this bs in a song, so I had to give it to u now.
